At Advanced Dental Concepts, we believe financial information should be clear before treatment begins. We take time to explain dental insurance, financing, and our membership program so patients can understand the options available through our office and plan for their portion of dental costs.
Our office is out of network with dental insurance carriers. Depending on the policy, patients may still have benefits for preventive, restorative, or other eligible services received at our office. Because coverage varies, we encourage patients to become familiar with their plan and its provisions for out-of-network dental care.
No two dental insurance plans work exactly the same way. Deductibles, annual maximums, waiting periods, exclusions, and reimbursement levels can all affect how benefits are applied. We can help patients understand the insurance information related to their care, while final benefit decisions and reimbursement amounts remain with the insurance carrier.
Some policies provide dental coverage for services received from an out-of-network dentist, although the amount covered may differ from in-network care. We can discuss anticipated treatment fees so patients have a clearer idea of costs before moving forward. Our Laguna Beach office welcomes patients from Aliso Viejo, Newport Coast, and Laguna Niguel.
Being out of network does not automatically mean that dental benefits cannot be used. A patient’s policy determines whether out-of-network services are eligible for reimbursement and how those benefits are calculated.
We encourage patients to check their plan when they have questions about deductibles, annual maximums, covered procedures, or reimbursement. Our team is also available to discuss treatment fees and the financial information we can provide from our side.
We understand that some treatment costs are easier to manage when they can be spread over time. CareCredit is among the payment options for dental care available through our office for patients who prefer to finance eligible expenses rather than pay the full amount at once.
CareCredit is a third-party healthcare financing provider. Approval, interest rates, promotional financing, repayment periods, and other account terms are determined by CareCredit. We can explain how CareCredit may be used for eligible dental expenses, while patients can review the lender’s current terms before applying or choosing a financing arrangement.
For patients who don’t have dental insurance, we offer an in-house membership program with Adult, Perio, and Child options. The plans include preventive services such as scheduled cleanings or periodontal maintenance, doctor exams, fluoride treatments, needed X-rays as determined by the dentist, and one emergency exam per year if needed. Members also receive 15% off other eligible treatments, with some exclusions.
Our Adult plan is intended for patients receiving regular cleanings without periodontal disease, while the Perio plan is designed for patients in active periodontal maintenance following previous treatment for gum disease. A separate Child plan is available for patients age 13 and younger.
The membership program is not dental insurance. It is a payment arrangement available exclusively to uninsured patients of our practice, and membership discounts cannot be combined with other offers or discounts. Current fees, terms, and eligibility details should be reviewed before enrollment.
Before planned treatment, we can discuss estimated fees and the portion that may remain after applicable insurance benefits or membership savings. If financing is being considered, we can also explain where CareCredit fits among the available options.
We want patients to understand what they are agreeing to financially, whether they are using insurance, financing, or one of our affordable dental plans. Actual costs depend on the treatment provided and the financial option being used.
We want the financial side of care to feel as organized as the clinical side. Our patients have access to many dental services in one office, including in-house implant and oral surgical care and IV sedation for appropriate cases. We also support patient comfort with massage dental chairs, noise-canceling headphones, and individual tablets available in our treatment rooms.
When questions about fees or payment arise, we take time to explain what we can from our office and identify which questions need to be confirmed with an insurance carrier or financing provider. This helps keep financial discussions clear without making assumptions about coverage, approval, or reimbursement.
If you have questions about insurance, membership benefits, CareCredit, or anticipated treatment costs, talk with our team before your visit or planned procedure. We can review the financial options available through our office and help you understand the information relevant to your care.
Contact our Laguna Beach office to discuss insurance, financing, or membership options. We are available to answer questions about estimated fees and payment arrangements, so you have practical financial information before deciding how to manage the cost of your dental care.
